The cost of living is cheaper, lot more than other Asian cities. It is difficult to give a precise figure because of differences in the student lifestyle. We are giving approximate costs below.

Food in Philippines is very cheap for example; in Rs 17 the student can buy 1 Kg of POTATOS, or 1 KG of ONION is Rs 35. Chicken - Rs 185 per kg, Fish - Rs 200 per Kg, Rice - Rs 25 to 70 per Kg, Milk products are very cheap as well

The most common mode of transport is Tri Cycle and Jeepney. Fare only 8 to 12 peso. Long distance bus and ferry available to travel from one part of the country to another. Air conditioned delux fare is 200 to 700 peso depending on the distance. Trains available only in Manila. Air fare very cheap in Philippines.
